Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from Cakebread was well-received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a faint grapefruit and lime bouquet with a hint of apple blossoms. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and round. The flavor profile is a mild mineral and gentle grapefruit blend with hints of lemon-lime. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. The Panel thought this Sauvignon Blanc would be a very good glass pour option. This Sauvignon Blanc is versatile and food friendly. We would suggest pairing it with swordfish skewers or breaded scallops. Enjoy - KWGTP
