Wine Review: This pale straw colored Viura opens with a honeydew melon bouquet with hints of lime peel, pineapple, honeysuckle, and white peach pit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and with nicely integrated mild acidity. It is well-balanced and round. The flavor profile is lime and stony minerality blend with notes of chamomile tea and honeydew melon. We also detected hints of green apple, ginger, and hazelnut in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this very good value Viura with pan-fried rainbow trout in lemon butter sauce, a mahi-mahi sandwich, or ceviche. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Pale, bright lemon in color with green hints at the rim. Fresh aromas of white pome fruit and fresh spring flowers. The palate encourages further tasting with its smooth, elegant mouth feel, with citrusy acidity and a long, fresh and fruit driven finish. Wine to pair with fish, seafood and all types of aperitif including dry cured Spanish ham.
