Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling opens with a mild green apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is tart lime with notes of chalky mineralty. I also detected hints of hints of faint apricot and pineapple. The finish is dry and its ripe flavors linger nicely. This Riesling would pair well with Asian cuisine. I would select Thai spring rolls. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wet 2013 harvest required extensive selection and yielded the smallest crop since 1980; less than half of normal. But the small amount of fruit produced deliciously juicy, delicate wines. The Estate Riesling has a fine aroma of lime and slate, with a silky texture and a beautifully balanced acidity that gives it a drying finish.
