Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chard opens with a fragrant vanilla oak and lemon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a mild oak influenced green apple and green pear blend. The finish is dry and lingers nicely with a hint of residual oak. This wine would go well with clam chowder. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Lemon curd and apricot, with a bit of clove and just a hint of wet wool. Don’t be surprised if you also detect an ever so faint whiff of vanilla cookies. Layers of spiced apple, honey and nutmeg reveal seamlessly on a tight frame to give way to the long, lucious chamomile-tinged finish.
