Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a mild black raspberry bouquet with hints of oak and a touch of old leather. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced, smooth and just a little juicy. I liked the way it coated my mouth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black plum and gentle minerality blend with notes of black pepper. I also detected some old oak, black raspberry and red cherry nicely integrated into the mix. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show very nice length. I would pair this Pinot with duck breast with fig sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine shows aromas of blackberries, rose petals, dried herbs and earth. Flavors are driven by a dark fruit core, complemented by sandalwood, black pepper and crushed stone.
