Wine Review: This very pale white gold colored Riesling from Skaneateles in the Finger Lakes opens with a pear and mild Vaseline bouquet with a hint of lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is brisk, round and savory. The flavor profile is saline and lemon-lime blend with notes of white peach. I also detected a hint of under ripe pineapple and green apple. The finish is off-dry and refreshing. I would pair this Riesling with fried calamari. Enjoy – Ken
