Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet opens with a mild black currant and gentle oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and displays no hard edges. The flavor profile is a spicy black currant with notes of integrated oak and black cherry. There are also hints of spice and black pepper mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its mild tannins linger. This Cab is food friendly and would be a good everyday option with a big juicy burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2007 Buried Cane Cabernet Sauvignon has sweet spice, licorice, black pepper aromas, with plenty of cherry and berry notes. It has a smooth and generous mouthfeel, with elegant tannins and fine balance. It’s a classic Washington State Cabernet, best when served with grilled steak, prime rib, pizza and pasta.
