Wine Review: This dark red colored "Reserve" level Cabernet Sauvignon from Burgess opens with a fragrant red cherry and cranberry bouquet with hints of cigar box and menthol. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, gentle and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a red plum and menthol blend with notes of minerality and strawberry licorice. We also detected hints of cedar and bay leaf. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and touch of heat are nicely extended. The Panel suggested pairing this savory Cab with Italian braciole or a coffee encrusted filet. Enjoy - KWGTP
