Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Burgess was well-received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a very fragrant pomegranate and cedar bouquet. We also detected hints of black cherry and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with notes of menthol, cedar plank, and milk chocolate. We also detected hints of red plum and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and acidity fade away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab with Colorado lamb chops. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Rich, elegant, refined, and beautifully balanced! Aromas of violets, gravel, blackberry, black cherry and cassis are accompanied by hints of vanilla and barrel spice. The velvety tannins provide a long finish with flavors of espresso and dark chocolate.
