Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Burgess opens with a very fragrant and gorgeous black currant and black cherry-cola bouquet with hints of eucalyptus. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and dense. The flavor profile is a ripe black cherry and black currant blend with notes of oak, menthol, stewed plums and a hint of minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins show nice length. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2014 growing season was marked by kind weather. Gorgeous black fruit, gravel, violets, black cherry, anise, juicy palate with nice structure and velvety tannins along with chocolate flavors. Finishes with very elegant bittersweet tannins.
