Wine Review: This pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is a fruit bomb. It opens with a mild cassis bouquet with a hint of black cherry liquor. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a mineral infused extracted blackberry with notes of black cherry and black raspberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build up and linger and last for quite some time. This Cab would pair nicely with a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Through our barrel program we identify a select few barrels that exhibit extreme complexity and richness. our Cabernet Sauvignon is aged in a high percentage of new oak that imparts balance and allows the wines to achieve full rounded character coupled with boldness. At this point the wine achieved the standard to be labeled under our Reserve program that showcases the full potential of our vineyards.
