Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a very appealing mild black cherry and blueberry bouquet with hints of light vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and a little clunky before you decant it. The flavor profile is black cherry with hints of dark chocolate, black raspberry and light oak. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. The panel suggested decanting this Cab in the near term. It developed favorably with some aeration. We suggested pairing it with roast pheasant or lamb. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Complex aromas and flavors of blackberry, cassis, cherry, vanilla, spice. This rich, mountain show true Cabernet flavor, densely packed, and with a full body.
