Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa opens with a slightly pungent gooseberry and bell pepper bouquet with hints of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with brisk plus acidity. The mouthfeel round, zippy, and fresh. The flavor profile is a gooseberry, asparagus, and lime zest blend with notes of yellow bell pepper and nectarine. I also detected some hints of stony minerality in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, zesty, and refreshing. I would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with swordfish skewers and a beach! Enjoy - Ken
