Wine Review: With a lengthy name it might take a bit longer to order this bottle. That said, it will be worth it. Clear, deep garnet colored, this Italian red blend shows aromas of red cherry, vanilla, sweet tobacco leaf, saddle leather, and hints of smoke and dark florals. On the palate it is medium bodied and moderately acidic. The mouthfeel is dry, nimble, lean, fresh, textured, and balanced. It displays flavors of red raspberry, tart cherry, bramble, green tea and light minerality with notes of black plum, clove, and anise. Light tannins stick around for a bit in the finish. Serve with your Nona's lasagna recipe. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Dark ruby red color. Intense and elegant aromas of ripe fruit and spices, with a slight scent of vanilla and tobacco. Persistent and warm taste, velvety and harmonic. Pair with chateaubriand, risotto, and medium-high aged cheeses.
