Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet from Sonoma opens with a mild cherry and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a slightly tart red cherry with hints of blueberry, red currant, and cedar plank. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are well managed and food friendly. The Cab is a good value and would pair well braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Enticing aromas of black cherry and warm blueberry pie are accented with rich caramel notes that linger on the nose. This well-balanced wine offers generous fruit with flavors of forest floor and musk that are supported by supple tannins and lead to a long, delicious finish.
