Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Brandlin opens with a black raspberry and moist loam bouquet with hints of black cherry, blueberry, and new leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and lush. The flavor profile is graphite, stewed plum, and oak with notes of juicy blueberry and boysenberry. We also detected a hint of red licorice. The finish is dry and its well-managed refined tannins build-up and last for quite a long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a Butcher Boy club steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Produced from the choicest parcels of our ridgeline vineyard, this Bordeaux style blend is anchored in Cabernet Sauvignon, combined elegantly with Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The 2019 Henry's Keep, Red Wine offers a bouquet of elderberry, blackberry, violet and sandalwood that fuses intricately with notes of cinnamon, cacao, and caramel on the palate. The finish is adorned by mouth-coating, silky tannins that complement the robust fruit of this intricate blend.
