Wine Review: This straw-colored Moschofilero (moosh-ko-fee-lair-oh) from Boutari is very good. It opens with an attractive Honeydew melon and mild pink grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral influenced ruby grapefruit with notes of orange and lemon verbena. I also detected hints of Honeydew melon and lychee. The finish is off-dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Moschofilero would pair very well steamed mussels. Enjoy - Ken
