Wine Review: A lovely and savory Pinot Noir from Burgundy, France! In the glass it’s a brilliant ruby color. The inviting bouquet includes aromas of black raspberry, strawberry, smoked meat, wet granite, and lilac. On the palate, it is silky smooth and supple, medium bodied, moderately acidic, elegant and still fresh. I found flavors of red cherry, strawberry, Slim-Jim, mushrooms and notes of earthy cranberry and black pepper. Round tannins complement a dry and very long finish. Pair with a coal fired mushroom and onion pizza. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Rich aromas of different berry fruits. Perfumed and willowy on the palate, the wine expresses a delicate softness. Good ageing potential. Pair with game birds like quail or pigeon.
