Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Burgundy opens with a fragrant black raspberry and earthy loam bouquet with hints black plum and licorice nips. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, delicate, and super smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black plum and stone dust minerality blend with notes of black cherry and black tea. I also detected hints of cedar, black pepper, and a touch of clove. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. While this Pinot is not overly complex, it is very food friendly and versatile. It would pair nicely with a stovetop Pinot pork roast. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Nice dark garnet color with brown to mauve shades. Complex bouquet associating perfumes of jammy red fruit, fig, peony with a hint of chocolate. Harmonious and deep palate, with a beautiful maturity and dense but fine tannins. An attractive wine that pairs well with poultry.
