Wine Review: This bright yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a faint lemon and brioche bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, soft and delicate. The flavor profile is a gentle Granny Smith apple and Anjou pear blend with notes of chalky minerality and honeydew melon. There are hints of spice and brioche as well in the mix. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chard is food friendly and versatile. I would pair it with a pan-fried cod with a classic beurre Blanc sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Tasting Note: The nose unveils flavors of white fleshed fruit and citrus combined with a subtle woody background. Aromatic and full on the palate with pleasant liveliness.
Food/Wine Pairing: Starters, grilled or fish in light sauce, white meat, or poultry.
