Wine Review: This Sparkling Rose from California is a crowd pleaser. It is straw in color with a pink hue that displays mesmerizing small bubbles that continue to persist long after the original pour. Light bodied with a pleasant but shy bouquet of bread dough, light cherry, pineapple, and hints of other citrus fruit. The palate is smooth, crisp, and dry with a nice bubble mouthfeel including mouthwatering acidity. Like the bouquet, the flavors are shy and include strawberries, cherries, and bread dough. The finish is dry and lingers. I found this Sparkling Rose to be food friendly. I would recommend pairing it with Ken's pear salad or sushi. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: Fresh notes of summer strawberry, raspberry sorbet and grilled peaches with cream emanate from the glass. The palate is refreshing with hints of berries, strawberry shortcake, toasted almond, and a squeeze of citrus. Sleek bubbles lend a sense of creaminess in the finish. This rosé embodies a beautiful blend of fruitiness and refinement.
