Wine Review: This pitch black colored red blend from Argentina opens with mild black currant and plum like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and full of flavor. Those flavors are a smoky oak influenced plum with notes black currant. I also detected a hint of blackberry. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This wine would pair well with a tangy pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Red pepper, tabasco surrounded by a red/black fruit combo makes the aromatics unmistakable from this very unique high mountain estate. The fruit freshness on the palette is remarkable considering the wine is over 14% alcohol. This is a great introduction to the exotic nature of the Bodega Tacuil wines.
