Wine Review: This very pale coral colored wine from Blue Farm opens with an inviting and fragrant strawberry and orange peel bouquet with a hint of rose petals. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, delicate, and silky. The flavor profile is a mild stony minerality and gentle maraschino cherry with notes of green tea and tangerine. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This Rose is a quaffer and very food friendly. I would pair it with linguini with clam sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2022 Rosé is a saigneé sourced from our early pick Pinot Noir lots. In the glass, the color is a delicate pale peach. On the nose, a lovely bouquet of orange blossoms, tangerine, and watermelon. Crisp and clean on the palette, the wine has great mouthfeel, bright acidity and evokes fresh picked strawberries. A perfect summer wine!
