Wine Review: This red colored Pinot Noir from Blue Farm opens with a raspberry crumble and red plum bouquet with hints of strawberry and dried violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, fresh and savory. The flavor profile is a spiced red plum and cranberry tea blend with notes of slightly tart red cherry, clove, and black pepper. We also detected hints of stone dust and strawberry. The finish is dry, and its acidity, flavors, and fine tannins linger nicely. We would pair this Pinot with maguro sashimi or 100-point teriyaki meatballs. Enjoy – KWGTP
