Wine Review: This slightly dark red colored Pinot Noir from Blue Farm opens with a mild wild blueberry and gentle toasted oak bouquet with hints of dark chocolate and black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, seamless, and fresh. The flavor profile is black raspberry and graphite blend with notes of gentle blueberry and oak. We also detected hints of dark chocolate, spiced black plum, and orange zest. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this very tasty Pinot with pan-seared duck breast or with grilled lamb lollipops. Enjoy - KWGTP
