Wine Review: This clear medium garnet colored Pinot Noir opens with red licorice and black cherry bouquet with hints of black plum, oak, and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is spiced black plum and black pepper blend with notes of black cherry and black tea. We also detected some hints of flint and smoky oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors were nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with pot roast or lamb stew. Enjoy – KWGTP
