Wine Review: This pale-straw colored Chardonnay is very good. It opens with a light lemon zest and crushed seashell bouquet with a hint of crème brulee. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, bright and zesty. The flavor profile is a chalky minerality, pineapple and lemon verbena blend with notes of green apple, ginger, and white pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and lasts for a very long time. I would pair this Chard with chicken picatta. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Chardonnay, meticulously farmed on a great site has it all: good structure, nice fruit profile, great balance and layers. The 2019 wines show beautiful aromas, medium weight on the pallet, with a long finish reminding me of the 2016 vintage. They are approachable now but will age gracefully for years to come. Enjoy!
