Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens from Blue Farm opens with a wet stone, pineapple and golden delicious apple bouquet with hints of honey. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with bright acidity. We also found it to be nicely balanced, smooth and graceful. The flavor profile is green apple and mild mineral blend with notes of gentle pineapple, green tea and saline. We also detected hints of lemon and oak in the background. The finish is dry and refreshing for a Chard. The Panel would pair this Chard with a upscale fish taco, sauteed scallops, or a grilled tuna with mango salsa. Enjoy – KWGTP
