Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Blue Farm is impressive. It opens with a fragrant oak and lemon tart bouquet with a hint of butterscotch. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The flavor profile is a pleasantly oaked green apple and butterscotch blend with notes of pineapple and butter along with just a hint of lemon zest. It closes with its flavors and acidity drifting away nicely in an extended finish. This Chardonnay is food friendly and would pair perfectly with creamy lemon chicken francese. Enjoy - Ken
