Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from the Fort Ross-Seaview AVA is very nice. It opens with a pleasant and attractive mild black raspberry and boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, soft and refined. The flavor profile is a tasty and gentle boysenberry with notes of black plum. I detected hints of vanilla and cola towards the end. The finish is dry and its gentle flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot would pair perfectly with a garlic and herb roasted pork tenderloin.
