Wine Review: This pale straw-colored inaugural sparkling wine from Blenheim has a few streaming bubbles. It opens with a light lime and saline bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh with a nice amount of froth. The flavors profile is a stony minerality and bread dough blend with notes of lime and saline. I also detected some hints of almond in the mix. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. This sparkling wine would pair well with a chilled crab cocktail. Enjoy - Ken
