Wine Review: This light gold colored Roussanne Blenheim Vineyards in Virginia is very good! It opens with a Bosc pear bouquet with hints of golden raisin. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and lush with very nice palate coverage. The flavor profile is a gentle pear and chalky minerality blend with notes almond. I also detected some hints of white tea mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this Roussanne with trout almondine. Enjoy - Ken
