Wine Review: This is the second vintage in a row that we have endorsed this wine. It is opaque and dark purple colored. It opens with a fragrant blackberry bouquet with a hint of black licorice. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, smooth, and rich. The flavor profile is a very pleasant black currant and blackberry blend with notes of oak. The finish is rather dry and its fine tannins are nicely prolonged. I would suggest pairing this gem with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2008 Paramour unfolds with seductive notes of black cherry, nutmeg, clove, and subtle earthy aromas. On the expansive palate, bold flavors of cherry, chocolate, blueberry, and black currant combine with a creamy black fruit and cedar overlay. The plush finish is framed by velvety tannins and a luxurious mouthfeel. Paramour is ideal for drinking beyond the next decade.
