Wine Review: The dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley opens with a mild black raspberry and strawberry licorice bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry and plum blend with notes of chocolate. I also detected a hint of coconut and blueberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a while. I would pair this Cab with a homemade meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied and balanced with savory aromas of black cherry, cocoa and baking spice. Concentrated flavors of rich black cherry, blackberry, spice and toasted oak unfold gracefully across the palate with well-integrated fruit and tannins.
