Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from Black Kite opens with a pine and ginger, pineapple bouquet with hints of white peach, lemon, and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, round, and lush. The flavor profile is oak and pineapple blend notes of butterscotch, white peach, and ginger. We also detected some hints of mango, vanilla custard, and Meyer lemon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and mouthwatering acidity are nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would pair this Chard with crab cakes or sautéed scallops with lemon beurre blanc. Enjoy – KWGTP

A vivid reflection of the site's coastal proximity, our 2021 Richard Dinner Vineyard Chardonnay offers lively Meyer lemon, ginger spice, apricot and pineapple notes complexed by subtle hints of sweet oak. The generous fruit core gains depth and dimension mid palate with the emergence of a lovely minerality that together with mouthwatering acidity adds lift through the long, graceful finish.
