Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Black Kite opens with a spiced red plum, strawberry Twizzler, and pomegranate bouquet with hints of wet stone and dried herbs. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated moderate acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, soft, and refined with some moderate tension. The flavor profile is a tasty mild red plum and raspberry blend with notes of stone dust and cherry-vanilla. I also detected some hints of herbal tea and white pepper. The finish is dry, and its moderate polished tannins linger and last for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with cherry amaretto chicken or a rack of lamb. Enjoy – KWGTP
