Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Black Kite opens with a black cherry, grilled plum, and clove spice bouquet with hints of wet moss and black pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is very nicely balanced, super smooth and rich. The flavor profile is a very tasty black cherry and mushroom blend with notes black plum and stony minerality. We also detected hints of cinnamon, clove, and green tea. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with filet mignon or with venison steaks. Enjoy – KWGTP
