Wine Review: This garnet colored Pinot Noir opens with an attractive potting soil and chocolate covered strawberry bouquet with hints of pine and black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, soft, and bright. The flavor profile is red raspberry tea and wild strawberry blend with notes of red plum and a hint of blood orange and stony minerality. The finish is very dry and its flavors, acidity, and tannins sticky around for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with Colorado lamb lollipop’s or hoisin glazed pork chops. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A favorite of many, our "Stony Terrace" Pinot Noir consistently delivers the vineyard's most opulent flavor profile. This 2019 bottling doesn’t disappoint, opening with a lush bouquet of dark plum, black cherry and forest berry with slightly more pronounced sweet tobacco and vanilla than vintages past. Abundantly rich and weighty, the palate delivers extraordinary length with even more brambly, dark fruit leading to the sweet, oak-tinged finish. Enjoy upon release or cellar for up to 8-10 years.
