Wine Review: This pale ruby colored Pinot Noir from Black Kite opens with a black cherry and wet stone bouquet with hints of spice, lavender, and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is polished, well-balanced, and lively. The flavor profile is a mild crushed stone and red plum blend with notes red cherry. We also detected hints of clove, herbal tea, and strawberry licorice. The finish is dry and its well-managed tannins, linger and last for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with Bigos (Polish Hunter’s Stew). Enjoy – KWGTP
