Wine Review: This pale ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a raspberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of red plum and cinnamon toast. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty plum and minerality blend with notes of pomegranate. We also detected some hints of blood orange, black tea and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is dry and its flavors and soft tannins linger and last for quite a while. The Panel would pair this Pinot with a Sunday pork roast or a roasted turkey leg. Enjoy โ KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The most angular and youthful of our Anderson Valley Pinot Noirs, the 2018 Kite's Rest Vineyard opens with lush floral and fresh picked red fruit aromatics. On the palate, the wine's berry compote core gains depth and roundness with the emergence of secondary brown spice, cocoa powder and sweet oak notes that carry through the lifted, high-toned fruit finish. Enjoy upon release or cellar for up to 4-8 years.
