Wine Review: This light colored Chardonnay from Bjornstad opens with an apple and lemon butter bouquet with hint of banana. On the palate, this wine medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is an oak influenced Bosc pear with notes of butter, pineapple, and white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for some time. This wine is quite food friendly and would pair perfectly with orecchiette pasta with grilled chicken smothered in a smoked Gouda cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
