Wine Review: This brilliant green gold colored Chardonnay opens with aromas of apple pastry and pistachio paste. On the palate, there is a burst of apricot and other stone fruit flavors followed by green apple, pineapple and cantaloupe. The split conditioning between stainless steel tanks and neutral French oak barrels yields a good balance and its mineral and acid content are also in harmony. This Chard would pair well with a cold Mediterranean salad of cous cous and feta cheese, but it can also stand up to a warm dish like yellow or green curry. – Jeoff (SIP Certified)
Winemaker Notes: The 2018 vintage of Bishop's Peak Chardonnay offers aromas of white peach, bright lemon, pineapple and orange blossom. Flavors of green apple, lime zest, and mouthwatering salinity. Perfect with shellfish, light appetizers or a light entree like pasta primavera.
