Wine Review: This deep purple colored Super Tuscan wine opens with a tomato leaf, raisin, black olive and oak bouquet with a hint of rye bread. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a black olive and dried black cherry blend with notes of oak and espresso. We also detected hints of anise, black plum, balsamic drizzle and black pepper. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins stick around for quite a while. The Panel would pair this wine with Brazilian fire roasted beef alcatra, beef brisket or braised short ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Biserno shows immediately its quality with taste of impeccable cherry, blackberry and dark prune flavors. It presents savory spice and tobacco framed with precision and focus. There is no doubt that this is one of the best editions of Biserno. Pair with braised or roasted meats and hard cheeses.
