Wine Review: This flavorful, deep ruby colored Argentinian Malbec is a nice week-night bottle to crack open. It has a pronounced bouquet which includes aromas of red raspberry jam, milk chocolate, ripe cherry, violets, and kitchen spices. On the palate, it is concentrated, full-bodied and straight-forward, with bright plus acidity and a smooth mouthfeel. There are flavors of red plum, sweet red berries, green tea, oak and minerality, with some hints of chocolate and dried herbs. Nice fine-grained tannins and a dry moderate length finish. Pair with a grilled flank steak with chimichurri sauce. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Bianchi "Oasis Sur" Malbec has a great intense color with fresh and complex aromas that offer spice, fresh plums, blackberries, and figs. Sweet, with gentle and ripe tannins mark its initial presence on the palate. The wine is unctuous, round, and complex with a full mouthfeel, medium structure and a harmonious and fruity finish. Ideal to serve with a large variety of foods, especially red meats, cheeses, lamb or any hearty pasta dish with red sauce.
