Wine Review: This deep purple colored Malbec opens with a barnyard, maraschino cherry and blackberry bouquet with hints of dried herbs. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. We also found it to be round, dense and rich. The flavor profile is blackberry and black licorice blend with notes of stony minerality, black cherry and oak. We also detected hints of boysenberry. The finish is dry and its supple tannins build-up and stick around for a long time. The Panel would pair this Malbec with ribeye steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Intense and deep color with a nuance of violet flashes, highlighting this wine’s power and vivacity. On the nose, intense aromas of cherries, fresh plums with hints of spice and floral notes, perfectly balanced with vanilla and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is initially sweet (a distinctive feature of Malbecs), fatty and fleshy, and with very good structure and complexity. It has balanced acidity, with round and sweet tannins, and a harmonious finish. Excellent now –and with great aging potential of 10 years.
