Wine Review: This slightly cloudy dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Beringer opens with a black currant and Canada mint bouquet with hints of blueberry, violet, dark chocolate, and dark cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, juicy, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is an acai berry and black currant blend with notes of stony minerality and blackberry. We also detected hints of cherry-cola, oak, and dark chocolate. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins build-up and stick around for a very long time. We would pair this full-throttle Cab with a well-marbled ribeye. Because this one, goes to 11! Enjoy - KWGTP
