Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens with a sautéed Vidalia onion and ginger ale bouquet with hints of lemon and honey. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, delicate, and soft. The flavor profile is a pineapple and honey blend with notes of vanilla and oak. We also detected some hints of cantaloupe. The finish is dry and subtlety fades away. The Panel would pair this Chard with wiener schnitzel or grilled mahi-mahi. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Rich, vibrant, creamy and expressive, this well-balanced, luscious Chardonnay is classically Californian with aromas of citrus blossom, lemon curd, honeysuckle and crème brûlée, supported by flavors of tropical fruits, like pineapple, mango and tangerine. A delicate touch of well-integrated oak shows notes of brioche and apple pie spice, leading to a pleasing, mouth-watering lengthy finish.
