Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Beringer opens with a black currant and black raspberry bouquet with hints of eucalyptus, moist pipe tobacco, and nutmeg. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, gentle, and well-balanced. The flavor profile is a blackberry and black cherry blend with notes of black tea and crushed stone. We also detected hints of cedar, clove, and a touch of chocolate. The finish is dry and its well-managed dusty tannins build-up and drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Excellent Cab would pair with a Brazilian skirt steak with golden garlic butter. Enjoy – KWGTP
