Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from Napa opens with a wet stone and green apple like bouquet with a hint of pear and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, mildly acidic and slightly creamy. The flavor profile is a pleasant Anjou pear with hints of green apple. I detected hints of tangerine, faint apricot, and minerality and oak. The finish is dry and its flavors and oak are nicely prolonged. I would pair this wine with chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a butter cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale bright yellow. Pure aromas of musky nectarine, grapefruit and pineapple. Boasts good thickness and richness for a chardonnay in this price range; the dominant characteristic is lively stone fruit flavors.
