Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with an inviting black raspberry bouquet with hints of cream soda, potting soil, and brown sugar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with plus bright acidity. We also found it to be velvety smooth. The flavor profile is juicy black cherry and oak blend with notes of blueberry, dark chocolate and stony minerality. We also detected hints of clove, vanilla, black plum and a touch of Tootsie roll that add to its complexity. The finish is dry, a little warm and its flavors show nice length. The Panel would pair this Pinot with filet mignon with mashed potatoes with rich gravy or with Sheri's sausage stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Lively aromas of plum, boysenberry and Bing cherry followed by nutmeg and baking spice. An intriguing blend of both power and restraint, the palate expresses profound notes of cranberry and pomegranate reinforced by a savory mouthfeel from refined tannins and structure.
